Aspen Fiber Networks is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to lead day-to-day accounting operations and help scale financial processes as the company grows. The role focuses on strengthening controls, ensuring accurate records, and coordinating with an external CPA for tax filings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting operations experience.
• Experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory accounting support role preferred.
• Strong understanding of A/R, A/P, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee A/R processes including onboarding, invoicing, collections, and payment posting.
• Oversee A/P processes including vendor onboarding, invoice entry, coding, and payment workflows.
• Support financial controls and reporting: aging, transaction summaries, and schedules.
• Coordinate with external CPA for federal tax filings and annual tax support.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and training for accounting staff; develop improved processes and controls.
