Job summary

Amgen in New York, NY seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, communicate clinical benefits, and promote our products while navigating payer environments.

The role requires strong sales experience and ability to implement the marketing strategy under the District Manager, with a focus on delivering patient value and building contract access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Associate degree + 4 years of Sales experience, or High School diploma + 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor's degree + 3 years of sales/clinical experience, or Associate + 6 years, or High School + 8 years in sales/clinical field.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help navigate payer environments.
• Deliver marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, customize discussions, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products through the sales cycle while upholding brand and patient service values.
