Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Boiler Controls Technician in St. Louis, MO to troubleshoot, repair and upgrade boiler control sensors and field devices in the field. You will identify mechanical and electrical deficiencies, perform start-ups, and conduct planned maintenance.

The role requires reading wiring diagrams, a strong electrical background, and the ability to travel up to 50% for local and overnight work. A sign-on bonus applies based on experience and tenure.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with industrial electrical and control systems
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to troubleshoot via PLCs (preferred)
• Must read and work from wiring diagrams and schematics
• Mechanical and electrical background required
• Aptitude and desire to learn new skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and upgrade boiler controls sensors and field devices
• Identify and repair equipment deficiencies (mechanical and electrical)
• Perform boiler start-ups in the field
• Conduct boiler planned maintenance
• Mechanical work and other duties as assigned
