Job summary

Penske is seeking a Body Shop Technician in Lithia Springs, GA to perform diagnostic procedures and collision repairs on trucks and trailers, with supervision for suspension, electrical, painting and welding tasks. You’ll use industry-leading repair techniques and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to return vehicles to peak condition.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience or equivalent education/experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational/technical training preferred
• Specialized repair/refinish experience for trucks and trailers
• Proficiency with tools of the trade (welding, paint, shop machines, power tools)

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of truck and trailer components including cab/sheet metal, fiberglass, welding, frame alignment and suspension.
• Identify parts needed for repair and document on repair orders.
• Perform truck collision repair services and determine warrantable repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Road test vehicles when necessary and work with minimal supervision.
