Job summary
Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Body Shop Technician to perform diagnostic procedures and repair trucks and trailers, with supervision for major suspension, electrical, painting and welding tasks. The role uses advanced diagnostic equipment to restore vehicles to high-quality condition.

Qualifications
- 6 years practical experience (or an equivalent combination of related education and experience).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational/technical school preferred.
- Specialized training and experience in repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer required.
- Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools) required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- DOT/OSHA and Penske safety policies awareness and compliance required.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers across a range of systems.
- Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
- Perform levels of Truck Collision Repair services.
- Document warrantable repairs on repair orders.
- Maintain a safe, organized work area and perform road tests when needed.
- Operate with minimal supervision and complete tasks timely.
