Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced electrical systems integration engineer in the United States to own body controls end-to-end closures, seating, lighting, switches, mirrors, wipers, and the motors, sensors, and actuators behind them.

You will translate physical component behavior into system requirements, define interfaces, and drive bench bring-up, vehicle validation and production launch while mentoring teams and coordinating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in automotive systems integration or similar.
• Experience with CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks and diagnostics.
• Strong systems engineering fundamentals and requirement traceability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end integration of body controls components during validation and production launch.
• Lead component bring-up and debug on benches and in vehicles, defining processes and resolving cross-domain issues.
• Drive vehicle manufacturing integration and end-of-line validation for body controls components.
