Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Board Product Development Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. You will lead the release of NVIDIA-designed board and system products to high-volume manufacturing and collaborate across multiple disciplines to ensure smooth production ramps.

Responsibilities include defining scalable test architectures for ARM and x86 platforms, developing fixtures, and partnering with Mechanical, Thermal, Test, Hardware Design, Software, and Quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in hardware design analysis, prototype bring-up, failure verification, and manufacturing test support.
• Extensive experience in high-volume board and system manufacturing process verification.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing test processes, quality systems, and risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to work cross-functional and communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership with mentoring and developing engineering talent.
• Willingness to travel internationally for on-site factory builds supports (6–8 weeks per year).

Responsibilities

• Product Release to Manufacturing: Release NVIDIA-designed board and system products to high-volume manufacturing.
• Early Planning and Coordination: Represent during early manufacturing test solution planning and align stakeholders on production release requirements.
• Define scalable manufacturing test architectures, methodologies, processes, and system requirements for board- and server-level products across ARM and x86 platforms.
• Develop and qualify test strategies, fixtures, and equipment for new product features, validating hardware test solutions for production deployment.
• Partner with Mechanical, Thermal, Test, Hardware Design, Software, and Quality Engineering teams to drive DFX initiatives and factory release requirements.
• Support factory builds and production ramps by debugging board- and system-level issues, collaborating with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
• Monitor end-to-end manufacturing test verification from board to system level, analyze production data, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement through new manufacturing test technologies, process optimization, international factory supports, and mentoring/developing engineering talents.
