Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Board Product Development Engineer to lead the release of board and system products to high-volume manufacturing in our Operations Engineering team. You will define test architectures, develop strategies, and collaborate across Mechanical, Thermal, Hardware, Software, and Quality groups to ensure successful production releases.

You will mentor engineers, drive DFX initiatives, and support global factory operations while analyzing data to prevent risks and optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering – or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in hardware design analysis, bring-up, failure verification, and test support.
• Extensive experience in high-volume board and system manufacturing process verification.
• Strong understanding of board/system manufacturing test processes, quality systems, and risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership with mentoring and developing engineering talent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Willingness to travel internationally for on-site factory builds (6–8 weeks/year).

Responsibilities

• Release NVIDIA-designed board and system products to high-volume manufacturing.
• Represent Product Operations Engineering during early test solution planning and align stakeholders.
• Define scalable test architectures, methodologies, and system requirements for boards and servers.
• Develop and qualify test strategies, fixtures, and equipment for new features.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Thermal, Test, Hardware, Software, and Quality teams to drive DFX and releases.
• Support factory builds and ramps by debugging issues and coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Monitor end-to-end test verification from board to system, analyze data, and drive corrective actions.
• Drive ongoing improvements with new test technologies and international factory support; mentor staff.

We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Board Product Development Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful release of NVIDIA’s board and system products to high-volume manufacturing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Product Release to Manufacturing: Play a key role in releasing NVIDIA-designed board and system products to high-volume manufacturing.
• Early Planning and Coordination: Represent Product Operations Engineering during early manufacturing test solution planning and align stakeholders on production release requirements.
• Define scalable manufacturing test architectures, methodologies, processes, and system requirements for board- and server-level products across ARM and x86 platforms.
• Develop and qualify test strategies, fixtures, and equipment for new product features, validating hardware test solutions for production deployment.
• Partner with Mechanical, Thermal, Test, Hardware Design, Software, and Quality Engineering teams to drive DFX initiatives and factory release requirements.
• Support factory builds and production ramps by debugging board- and system-level issues, collaborating with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
• Monitor end-to-end manufacturing test verification from board to system level, analyze production data, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement through new manufacturing test technologies, process optimization, international factory supports, and mentoring/developing engineering talents.

What We Need To See

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering – or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
