Job summary

Block Imaging Parts & Service LLC is seeking a Biomedical Technician III Site Lead to support multi-vendor biomedical service across California, including Lodi and Sonora. You will install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain medical imaging equipment at customer sites while leading regional service activities.

The role demands strong diagnostics, mentoring BMET I/II, and close collaboration with clinicians and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years servicing biomedical equipment.
• Associate degree or equivalent training/experience in electronics or Biomedical Engineering.
• At least one manufacturer certification on a medical equipment model.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs on biomedical and imaging equipment.
• Serve as the technical escalation point to minimize downtime.
• Lead service activities within a geographic region and manage workload.
• Collaborate with clinicians, service teams, and leadership to align technical solutions with clinical needs.
• Mentor and support BMET I and II technicians.
• Ensure accurate service documentation and compliance with safety/quality standards.
• Identify trends and drive improvement actions to boost reliability.
• Support training, equipment validation, and new technology rollouts.
• Provide ongoing status reports to hospital leadership.
• Drive and operate vehicle as part of essential duties.
