Capital i is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET I, II, or III) to support maintenance, calibration, repair, and lifecycle management of medical equipment across the Northern Light Health network in Ellsworth, Maine.

Placement level will be determined by education, experience, technical expertise, and competencies. BMET II/III may provide mentorship, leadership, and project support within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required for BMET I; higher levels require additional experience.
• BMET II/III require progressive maintenance/repair experience and advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
• CBET or AAMI credentials are preferred for II/III levels.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine inspections, calibration, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot at various BMET levels with escalation as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the equipment-management system.
