Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to own the OpenBMC-based firmware for next‑gen AI and compute servers. You will define architecture, implement manageability interfaces, and collaborate closely with hardware and hyperscale customers.

You will drive security, reliability, and lifecycle management from bring-up through deployment, mentoring engineers and guiding cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of embedded/firmware development experience with server-class firmware
• Hands-on OpenBMC development and production delivery
• Strong knowledge of Redfish, IPMI, and hardware-software interfaces
• Experience with security features like secure boot and firmware update
• Ability to lead cross-functional debugging and architecture decisions

Responsibilities

• Define OpenBMC-based firmware architecture for AI/compute platforms
• Develop and integrate manageability, telemetry, power, and thermal control
• Ensure secure boot and robust firmware update/recovery workflows
• Lead firmware bring-up across EVT/DVT/PVT stages and debug at board and system level
• Provide tooling for factory provisioning, diagnostics, and fleet deployment
