Job summary

AMD is seeking a Lead Firmware Architect to shape the firmware architecture strategy for its AI-focused data center platforms. You will collaborate across silicon, platform hardware, software, and hyperscale customers to deliver scalable, secure firmware solutions from concept to deployment.

You will mentor engineering teams, drive standards adoption (Redfish, IPMI, UEFI), and lead fault management, telemetry, and RAS initiatives for next-generation AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in firmware and embedded systems for data center platforms.
• Proven ability to design scalable firmware architectures for AI infrastructure.
• Experience with secure development practices and threat modeling.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture of AMD AI platform firmware across BIOS, BMC, telemetry, and RAS.
• Lead firmware strategy across bring-up, productization, and lifecycle management.
• Champion industry standards such as Redfish, DMTF, UEFI, and ACPI.
• Mentor teams and translate operational learnings into scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with hyperscale customers and partners to capture requirements.
