Job summary

Bank of America’s Global Markets Post Trade Technology team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, and implementation of next-generation post-trade solutions. Focus on tokenization, stablecoins, blockchain, and DLT to drive modernization, resilience, and settlement efficiency across multiple stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years in blockchain/DLT, and strong cloud-native architecture skills.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments.
5+ years of experience with blockchain, digital asset or distributed ledger technologies.
Strong understanding of APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Ensures that the design and engineering approach for complex features are consistent with the larger portfolio solution.
Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate and adapt new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s).
Enables CI/CD capabilities and engages with other technical stakeholders for efficient CI/CD pipeline.
Guides and influences team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance.
Provides end-to-end delivery of complex features for one or multiple teams at the program level.
Lead the architecture, design, and development of blockchain and distributed ledger solutions for post-trade technology.
