BlackLine is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead mid-market and enterprise-scale ERP projects, configuring BlackLine products to meet complex client needs. Role requires extensive accounting software experience and proven client-facing skills.

Responsibilities include managing milestones, documenting work, and advising clients on best practices, with a focus on delivering high-value results under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Consulting Services or Professional Services.
• Two years of experience with BlackLine or similar products.
• Experience balancing multiple projects with enterprise-level customers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Expertise with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of software applications.
• Experience in a high-revenue environment (billing of time and materials).
• Experience documenting Business Requirements and technical specifications.
• Previous Business Analysis experience.
• Knowledge of accounting terminology and processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Salesforce/CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manages mid-market to large-scale implementation projects across multiple sectors.
• Drives milestones to completion within budget, scope, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Documents project activities, including billable hours, notes, and expenses.
• Advises clients on best practices and configures the software to meet business needs.
• Builds strong relationships with client contacts and executive sponsors.
• Provides strategic and operational recommendations based on project objectives.
• Translates client requirements into configuration and testing solutions.
• Responds to client communications and resolves issues with urgency and care.
• Defines project scope and ensures specifications meet expectations.
• Manages risk and budget considerations throughout the project life cycle.
• Leads, mentors, and coaches junior consultants.
