Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an experienced Biospecimen Lead in New Jersey to oversee the full lifecycle of biospecimens for clinical studies, from collection to final disposition.

You will develop the Specimen Management Plan, manage shipping and inventory, and produce reports while coordinating with vendors and clinical teams. Travel is minimal, with emphasis on data accuracy and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of clinical biospecimen procedures and lifecycle.
• Experience with vendor management and data handling in clinical studies.
• Understanding of regulatory considerations (GCP/GLP) and data management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the lifecycle of biospecimens for clinical studies.
• Create and implement the Specimen Management Plan.
• Coordinate shipping, tracking, and vendor communications.
• Review protocol vs. vendor statements of work and provide feedback.
• Manage biospecimen trackers using Excel, Spotfire, Tableau or Polaris.
• Identify biospecimen risks and mitigate with stakeholders.
