Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Senior Biosolids Engineer to join its Water Sector with a focus on biosolids treatment, handling, and dewatering. This senior resource will support project delivery, shape TYLin’s biosolids capabilities, and establish leadership in the biosolids practice area across the Water Sector.

The role requires directing design teams, coordinating with agencies, and advancing technical standards while delivering innovative, sustainable solutions in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• P.E. licensure with ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states.
• 8+ years in wastewater infrastructure with biosolids focus.
• Knowledge of approval processes and design standards (Local and Provincial).
• Contract administration experience is a significant asset.
• Client-focused, delivering optimal solutions.
• Strong commitment to innovation.
• Collaborative experience in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in design of biosolids treatment, dewatering, and handling projects.
• Coordinate design with agencies and stakeholders for approvals.
• Liaise with clients, municipalities, and agencies to secure approvals.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams within TYLin.
• Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications; QA/QC on projects.
• Participate in permitting meetings with clients and regulators.
• Prepare proposals, change orders, and client communications.
• Lead team members and delegate project tasks.
