Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience scaling fermentation from lab to commercial manufacturing.
• Proficient in DOE, data analysis, and statistics for process optimization.
• Strong track record in cross-functional collaboration and tech transfer.
• Experience managing external manufacturing organizations (CMOs/CROs) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead fermentation and downstream process development from shake-flask to commercial scale.
• Identify critical process parameters using DOE and SPC.
• Develop, optimize, and scale fermentation to support studies and commercialization.
• Coordinate internal and external production activities to generate development materials.
• Analyze data, present findings, and prepare protocols and reports.
• Engage third-party providers and partners to accelerate development and commercialization.
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional projects.
