Job summary

Senior Biotechnologist role to lead the design, optimization, and scale-up of biologics and advanced therapy processes in a regulated biopharmaceutical setting. The position focuses on delivering robust upstream and downstream processes with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance.

You will drive tech transfer into GMP manufacturing, support process validation and regulatory filing activities, and mentor scientists while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong bioprocess development expertise across upstream and/or downstream operations.
• Experience with GMP tech transfer, validation support, and regulatory documentation.
• Proven ability to lead complex troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of QbD and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to mentor technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust upstream and/or downstream bioprocesses.
• Drive technology transfer into GMP manufacturing.
• Support process characterization, process validation, and regulatory filing activities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the development lifecycle.
• Apply data-driven, Quality by Design (QbD) principles to improve process performance.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver patient-focused outcomes.
• Mentor and support scientists while maintaining safety and quality standards.
