Parsons is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver biometric software solutions for a major federal customer. You will drive secure, scalable systems supporting national security objectives and work across agile teams to ensure timely, quality releases.

The role emphasizes Android deployment, information assurance, encryption, and secure software delivery in DevSecOps environments, with collaboration across development, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong experience in biometrics related software, military applications, information assurance, encryption, and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day implementation of biometric software programs and projects.
• Coordinate project plans, schedules, and priorities with internal teams and leadership.
• Lead testing activities to ensure product quality before production release.
• Support secure product releases and production deployments with testing and security controls.
• Interface with senior management to provide status updates, risks, and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting biometric collection systems, including software and performance.
