Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Bend, OR is looking for a Biomedical Technician III to install, maintain, calibrate and repair complex medical devices.

You will educate clinical staff on technical integration and act as a subject matter expert without direct supervisory duties. The role requires an Associate degree in Biomedical Technology (or equivalent), six years’ hospital biomedical experience, and preferred AAMI CBET/CRES certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Biomedical Technology or equivalent education.
• Continued service training preferred.
• AAMI CBET/CRES certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs service and inspections of all medical devices for SCHS and its account customers.
• Serves as a team resource and has an advanced knowledge on the breadth of devices serviced.
• Coordinates Biomedical Services vendor activities within SCHS when needed.
• Participates in the evaluation, specification, selection, and purchase of medical devices.
• Provides and maintains a safe environment for caregivers, patients and guests.
