Job summary

The Titan Lab in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University is seeking a Research Senior Technician to support tendon and peripheral nerve injury studies, tissue healing, and regeneration using molecular, cellular, biomechanical, and in vivo models.

You will conduct experiments, optimize protocols, and perform histology, immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy, RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, and cell culture while managing

• Hands-on biomedical laboratory experience with mouse models preferred.
• Experience in molecular biology techniques and data interpretation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct experiments and optimize protocols.
• Perform histology, immunohistochemistry, and imaging techniques.
• Collect, process, and analyze tissue samples and data.
• Maintain accurate records, manage mouse colonies, and assist with training.
• Contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and grant proposals.
