Job summary

Haemonetics seeks an experienced Senior Biomedical Product Development Engineer in Boston, MA to own the mechanical design and performance of disposable components for the TEG6s IVD system.

You will drive development from concept through verification, coordinating with assay development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and clinical teams to ensure robust product performance and timely market introduction.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical device/IVD or regulated industry product development.
• Full lifecycle experience from concept to production for disposable components or capital equipment.
• Knowledge of plastics and metals fabrication including injection molding, lamination, laser welding, additive manufacturing, bonding.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle of disposable device components from concept to verification.
• Translate user/system needs into engineering requirements and risk documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and market introduction.
