Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field with emphasis on medical electronics or equivalent training.
• Minimum of several years performing preventive and corrective maintenance on medical devices.
• Familiarity with anesthesia machines, sterilizers, ventilators, ultrasound and lab analyzers is preferred.
• Ability to train others and to follow regulatory and safety standards.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission requirements and clinical equipment service.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on general and specialized clinical equipment.
• Diagnoses problems using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and other diagnostic methods and documents results.
• Notifies users and CE management of repair status and delays; coordinates parts and services.
• Provides on-call coverage and may assume lead technician duties as assigned.
