Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Technician, Biomedical III in Little Rock, AR to perform maintenance and safety inspections on patient care equipment. The role emphasizes service management, calibration, and timely responses to clinical calls to ensure high equipment uptime.

Applicants should have an associates degree in electronics/biomedical equipment technology and at least 3 years of hospital experience, with a valid driver’s license for travel roles.

Qualifications

• 3 years servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment.
• Valid driver’s license for field service positions requiring travel.
• Ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Good communication and strong customer service skills.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Experience tracking service histories and producing asset reports.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on patient care and support equipment.
• Manages all assigned equipment and schedules service.
• Performs pre-acceptance inspections and develops PM procedures.
• Ensures test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Responds to clinical department calls to evaluate and resolve issues.
• Maintains purchase order log and validates invoices for payment.
