Job summary

RENOVO Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform planned maintenance, inspections, and calibrations across clinical equipment to ensure safety and functionality in healthcare facilities. The role includes repair of devices such as infusion pumps, monitors, defibrillators, beds, ventilators, and anesthesia machines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Technical degree or equivalent.
• Proficient with electromechanical and computerized biomedical devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Accountability and ownership of assignments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical patient care equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications and hospital standards.
• Repairs can include infusion pumps, patient monitoring systems, beds, defibrillators, EKG machines, OR equipment, ventilators, anesthesia machines, etc.
• Install new equipment and conduct incoming inspections.
• Achieve KPI targets while maintaining departmental standards and goals.
• Support BMET teammates and the Supervisor/Manager on-site as needed.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, performance assurance, and electrical safety on general biomedical equipment.
• Maintain service records in RenovoLive CMMS.
