Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking a Biomedical Technician III (BMET III) to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of highly complex biomedical equipment. The role advises clinical staff and contributes to department improvements while mentoring teammates.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in clinical engineering, strong computer and data skills, and excellent communication. Travel to sites and regulatory compliance are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Complex computer skills required, including system administration, error code interpretation, and networking concepts.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills; valid driver’s license with travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures on complex equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate biomedical equipment and systems.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Lead service operations special projects; travel to sites as needed.
