Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in electronic, biomedical engineering or a related healthcare field.
• 7 years of electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair experience in healthcare tech.
• Experience in healthcare facility settings and calibration of clinical devices.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and device drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and calibrate advanced clinical equipment.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and quality standards for device maintenance.
• Mentor and develop junior BMET staff and provide guidance.
• Provide direct patient care equipment support and on-site service.
• Document work orders, parts usage, and service reports with accuracy.
