Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Senior Biomedical Equipment Technician to manage a service shop, perform repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on medical devices. You will ensure safety and reliability of critical patient care technology in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires technical proficiency, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle on-call shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Associates degree and 5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent military/training in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience servicing technical equipment.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Backfills CE Lead as needed.
• Conducts preventative maintenance, safety tests, and calibration.
• Repairs equipment and prioritizes workload with minimal supervision.
• Manages work order records and resolves customer service issues.
• Orders parts and supplies for equipment servicing.
• Cross-trains technicians and collaborates with colleagues.
