Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, seeks a Supervisory Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist to lead the Facilities Management Service team responsible for medical equipment reliability and safety.

You will supervise staff, develop policies, ensure compliance with NFPA, FDA, NRC, TJC, and AAMI standards, and coordinate maintenance and performance improvement across clinical systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet education/ certification thresholds listed.
• Experience with clinical equipment management and standards is essential.
• Certification programs and DoD training are acceptable paths to qualification.

HTM or biomedical engineering certificate program without internship + 1 year experience
