Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a BME Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Biomedical Engineering team at our Tampa site. The role combines hands‑on maintenance with leadership, mentoring, and project coordination to ensure high‑quality service for laboratory instrumentation.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, drive preventive maintenance programs, and collaborate with vendors and lab management to align initiatives while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in biomedical/imaging service or clinical lab setting.
• English language proficiency required.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of BME daily operations at assigned site.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of lab analyzers, automation systems, and robotics.
• Lead staff development through coaching and mentoring.
