Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior Biomedical Engineer to join the Continuous Glucose Monitoring Sensor R&D team. You will contribute to biosensing technology development, sensor design, and manufacturing processes to improve glucose sensing performance.

Responsibilities include design transfer, in-process specifications, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and regulatory teams. Mentors and communicates results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; or advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in glucose sensor or related medical device sensor development.
• Hands-on sensor design, first-principles problem solving, structured experimentation.
• Expertise in advanced statistical methods: DOE, ANOVA, mixed‑effects models, hypothesis testing, SPC, MSA/Gauge R&R, and sample size/power analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support design transfer activities and define in-process specifications and rejection criteria.
• Develop sensor process optimization, performance modeling, and manufacturing decision-making.
• Conduct detailed engineering analyses and documentation to support design development and process transfer.
• Apply data analysis, statistical methodologies, and machine learning to sensor performance and process monitoring.
• Mentor scientists and engineers in rigorous experimental design and data-driven decision making.
