Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Senior Associate, Biomanufacturing (Downstream/mRNA) for a premier client in Madison, WI. This 100% onsite role focuses on advanced troubleshooting and downstream purification for mRNA production within a GMP cleanroom.

The position requires strong technical leadership, adherence to cGMPs, and mentoring of junior team members. Shift schedule is 2pm–12am, Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with a robust benefits package and opportunities for CI leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent plus 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelors/Associates in STEM with 3+ years, or a Master’s in STEM with 1+ year.
• GMP manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with TrackWise, ComplianceWire, JD Edwards, DeltaV, Unicorn.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform downstream purification for mRNA production activities.
• Follow Batch Production Records (BPRs) and SOPs in accordance with cGMPs, with right-first-time focus.
• Document activities per GDP in BPRs and other quality records.
• Identify deviations and raise issues through Rapid Response; suggest safety and quality improvements.
• Lead CI initiatives and participate in CI projects; mentor junior members.
• Onboard new staff and possibly sign off training; interface with clients during PIP observations.
• Participate in daily shift huddles and lead shift exchanges; maintain 5S and cleanroom housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
