Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group is seeking a Senior Scientist I to lead day-to-day coordination and supervision of a DMPK Non-GLP Bioanalytical team. You will drive method development, qualification, sample analysis, and reporting to deliver high-quality results for drug discovery programs.

You will mentor colleagues, design complex studies, and coordinate sponsor communications, ensuring safety and compliance within a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related physical science degree.
• PhD with 3+ years related work experience, or Master’s with 10+ years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day team operations for DMPK non-GLP bioanalytical method development and sample analysis.
• Mentor and coach team members on technical and professional skills.
• Design and execute complex studies, evaluating multiple approaches and reporting results clearly.
• Serve as study director or project coordinator, interfacing with sponsors and leading project teams.
• Review calculations and reports; present findings and recommendations.
• Ensure safety, good housekeeping, and compliance with SOPs.
