Job summary
Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Bio + Health Fund seeks a Communications Partner to amplify portfolio stories and shape narratives around late-stage technology and its impact on healthcare. You’ll lead campaigns blending earned media with content, social, and events, collaborating with a world-class internal team to coach portfolio companies redefining medicine and health.
Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the role requires a senior communications expert with deep biotech/healthcare fluency,
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate, executive, product, or crisis communications, with meaningful experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare.
- Deep familiarity with the bio/healthcare landscape, including clinical and regulatory milestones.
- In-house and agency experience required.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy and execute communications plans that drive brand platforms forward while engaging founders and executives.
- Advise portfolio companies on brand marketing, media strategy, crisis management, internal communications, and more.
- Develop high-impact campaigns across earned media, top-tier press, trade publications, podcasts, and newsletters.
