Lakeside Book Company is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator 3 to oversee finishing processes and operate complex bindery machinery to meet production deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in bindery operations, experience with perfect binders, cutters, folders, collators and stitchers, and proven leadership abilities to train junior staff while maintaining safety and quality. This is a full-time, on-site role in Owensville, MO.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in bindery operations; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bindery equipment setup and paper types.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate complex bindery machines.
• Diagnose and repair issues; routine maintenance.
• Monitor quality and conduct final inspections.
• Direct crew, train junior operators, ensure safety.
• Plan operations; coordinate with departments to meet schedules.
• Document production data and follow safety protocols.
