Qualifications

• Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5+ years digital delivery (model management).
• Deep understanding of discipline relations and building systems.
• Advanced 3D design software skills and document management.
• Advanced 3D coordination tools proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Familiar with industry standards, discipline codes, and specs.
• Familiar with automation and programming applications for efficiencies.
• Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications.
• Familiar with content creation and management concepts.
• Strong client service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for technical support.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and leadership traits.
• Good organizational skills to balance technical support and project work.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Create designs independently under broad direction from Project Engineer/PM on various design projects.
• Direct preparation of drawings by lesser-experienced BIM Technicians or supervise BIM staff as needed.
• Complete projects with distinctive design features beyond BIM Technician precedents.
• Work with clients or contractor representatives as needed.
• Oversee BIM section operations including staff development, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Share production responsibilities on projects in addition to management duties.
• Administer staff and technical service functions and coordinate with other sections.
• Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a proactive project management system.
• Implement, monitor and support company policy.
• Recruit, train, develop and manage technical personnel.
