Job summary

Gray Design Group is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager to lead firmwide BIM standards, workflows, and coordination. You will partner with architectural teams to ensure high-quality model production across project phases and implement innovative digital design processes.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, collaborating with structural, MEP consultants, and advancing BIM tools such as Revit and BIM 360. A passion for accuracy and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with strong BIM focus.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; strong working knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain firmwide BIM standards, templates, and protocols.
• Evaluate and implement new BIM tools, software updates, and emerging technologies.
• Provide BIM leadership and technical support to project teams from concept through construction.
• Oversee model setup, coordination, and quality control to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
• Collaborate with consultants (structural, MEP, contractors) to support interdisciplinary model coordination.
• Mentor architectural staff on BIM tools, workflows, and best practices.
• Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting BIM-related issues.
