Job summary

Handel Architects LLP in New York, NY is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to lead project modeling, standards, and coordination for large urban projects.

You will mentor teams, advance digital workflows, and implement firm BIM standards with Project Leadership. Requires Revit expertise, collaboration, and strong communication skills; hybrid work after onboarding is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4–8 years of professional experience using Autodesk Revit in a project delivery environment.
• Experience on large-scale or technically complex projects.
• Experience across multiple phases including Construction Documents.
• Proficiency in model coordination, work sharing, and drawing production workflows.
• Familiarity with clash detection tools and interdisciplinary coordination processes.
• Knowledge of Dynamo or Grasshopper for computational design.
• BIM Execution Planning and coordination protocols understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent project teams.
• Strong communication and ability to guide technical workflows.

Responsibilities

About the Job

Handel Architects is seeking a dedicated and energetic Senior BIM Coordinator to join our New York office. In this role, you will work within a highly collaborative environment on a wide range of large, impactful urban projects, serving as a mentor and technical guide to project teams. We are seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator who is committed to advancing the role of technology in our industry, driving innovation in digital workflows, and leading teams to deliver high-quality, coordinated project outcomes. You will collaborate with Design Technology leadership to implement firmwide standards at the project level, guiding modeling and documentation workflows, and ensuring effective coordination with consultants and extended project stakeholders.

• Salary Range: $75,000- $90,000commensurate with experience

Remote Work Policy

To support onboarding, training, and team integration, new hires are required to work from the office full-time during their first six months. After this initial onboarding period, employees transition to the firm’s hybrid schedule of three in-office days and two optional remote days per week.
