Job summary

Crawford Architects in Kansas City, MO is seeking a full-time, experienced BIM/CAD Manager to lead our in-house BIM and CAD efforts, maintain libraries, templates, and standards, and provide training across the office.

You will balance hands-on design collaboration with firm-wide leadership, coordinate project setup, manage Revit+CAD libraries, and help implement best practices and workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of trade school or equivalent formal training.
• 3+ years AEC experience with at least 2 years in an architecture firm or related field using BIM/CAD tech.
• Ability to train effectively in-person and via web conference.
• Extensive knowledge of Revit 2022 or newer.
• Experience with file transfers (SharePoint/Box/Dropbox) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update office BIM/CAD standards and libraries.
• Lead project setup tasks including templates, sheets, and views.
• Administer Revit+CAD libraries across all projects with office BIM standards and codes.
• Support and train staff on Revit+CAD best practices and workflows.
• Coordinate design production and project collaboration between offices and clients.
• Source and manage Revit+CAD training programs (onsite, remote, online).
• Participate in kick-off meetings and issue resolution related to Revit model setup and documentation.
