Responsibilities

• Manage order entry, change orders, renewals, and monthly billing cycles.
• Process cash deposits and apply customer payments.
• Manage billing for recurring-revenue base; issue invoices accurately.
• Perform accounts receivable and collections; resolve balances.
• Review accounts and investigate billing discrepancies.
• Update billing system when contracts or pricing change.
• Process order entry and maintain customer data in systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve requests.
• Use Excel to analyze billing data (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables).

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Billing Specialist:

• Manage order entry, change orders, renewals, and monthly billing cycles to ensure customer agreements are accurately reflected.
• Process cash deposits and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
• Manage billing activities for a recurring-revenue customer base, ensuring invoices are accurate and issued timely.
• Perform accounts receivable and collections activities, with a focus on maintaining accurate customer accounts and resolving outstanding balances.
• Review customer accounts and investigate billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions.
• Update the billing system when contracts, pricing, services, or other customer terms change.
• Process order entry and ensure customer and order information is accurately maintained within internal systems.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve customer requests and ensure accurate billing and account information.
• Utilize Excel to analyze customer and billing data, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables.

Qualifications of the Senior Billing Specialist:

• 3+ years of relevant billing, collections, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience.
• Experience working with recurring billing or recurring-revenue environments preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to understand and utilize VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables.
