Job summary

San José Clean Energy (SJCE), the City of San José’s not-for-profit electricity provider, seeks a Senior Power Resources Specialist (Billing Operations & Data Manager) hybrid in downtown San José. You will lead the Billing Operations & Data team, oversee billing accuracy, data reporting, and rate updates to support residential and commercial customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Three years of experience in energy resources operations, planning, purchasing, scheduling, or contract negotiations.
• Ability to complete Form 700 disclosure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SJCE’s data manager and billing service provider, ensuring timely, accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with CalCCA and PG&E on billing operations and data matters.
• Own recurring reports on billing and programs, prioritizing accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Lead data quality standards for SJCE’s CRM and data warehouse integration.
• Supervise staff and mentor junior team members.
