Job summary

Cary Oil is seeking a Sr. Manager, Accounting Operations to lead Billing and Accounts Payable in a high‑volume environment. You will build and coach teams, drive accuracy, and partner with cross‑functional leaders to enable growth.

You will oversee invoicing, vendor payments, process controls, and reporting, delivering insights to senior leadership. A CPA or advanced degree is preferred, with 7–10 years of progressive accounting/ops experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required.
• CPA or advanced degree a preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting or operational finance experience with leadership of billing, accounts payable, or related teams.
• Experience driving process improvement and system implementations in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Billing and Accounts Payable functions, including managers and teams.
• Provide coaching and development to build high-performing teams.
• Drive operational excellence, controls, and compliance across processes.
• Develop and maintain operational reporting on billing, payables, cash flow, and team performance.
