Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant Big Data experience.
• Experience with Data Warehouse design and ETL processes.
• Experience with Hadoop stack (MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Hive).
• Experience in multi-petabyte data environments.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Contribute at a senior level to data warehouse design and data preparation for key business flows.
• Transform data to populate a warehouse table structure optimized for reporting.
• Establish design and programming patterns for engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Design, integrate and document components for data extraction and analysis on a big data platform.
• Promote best practices in the Big Data stack and train team members.
• Collaborate with multiple teams daily to maintain big data stack operability.
