Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant work experience in Big Data.
Experience with Data Warehouse design and ETL.
Experience in the Hadoop stack (HDFS, MapReduce, Pig, Hive).
Experience in multi-petabyte data environments.
Experience engineering large-scale distributed systems in production.

Responsibilities

Contribute at a senior level to data warehouse design and data preparation.
Perform data transformations to populate warehouse tables optimized for reporting.
Establish robust design and programming patterns for engineers and non-technical audiences.
Design, integrate and document components for data extraction and analysis on big data platforms.
Ensure best practices are adopted in Big Data stack and train team members.
