Lambdanets Services in Columbus, OH seeks a Big Data Developer to contribute at a senior level to data warehouse design and scalable data processing. You will implement robust data transformations, design patterns for engineering teams, and ensure best practices across the Hadoop stack.

You will collaborate with multiple groups to keep the big data platform operable and ready for reporting and analysis. The role requires 5+ years in Big Data, expertise with Hadoop ecosystems (HDFS, MapReduce,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant work experience in Big Data.
Experience with Data Warehouse design and ETL.
Experience in the Hadoop stack (HDFS, MapReduce, Pig, Hive).
Experience in multi-petabyte data environments.
Experience engineering large-scale distributed systems in production.

Responsabilités

Contribute at a senior level to data warehouse design and data preparation.
Perform data transformations to populate warehouse tables optimized for reporting.
Establish robust design and programming patterns for engineers and non-technical audiences.
Design, integrate and document components for data extraction and analysis on big data platforms.
Ensure best practices are adopted in Big Data stack and train team members.
Collaborate with multiple groups to maintain big data stack operability.
