Job summary

The Engineer III role at Global Business Ser. 4u plans, designs, develops and tests software systems for enhancements and new products.

Responsibilities include contributing to the full software development life cycle, writing maintainable code, and producing specifications with feasible operational plans. We expect 10+ years of experience, strong cloud and containerization skills (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker), and expertise in Java/Kotlin/Scala with Spring/Spring Boot.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and system design.
• Experience building streaming and batch data pipelines with Spark, Flink, Kinesis or Kafka.
• AWS experience developing cloud-based applications (EC2, Beanstalk, EKS, Lambda).
• Kubernetes for deploying and orchestrating micro-services.
• Experience with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin/Scala and related frameworks.
• Understanding of security, privacy, and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to full software development life cycle.
• Write maintainable, extensible, tested code per standards.
• Produce specifications and assess operational feasibility.
• Continuously integrate and deliver software components.
• Facilitate end-to-end user testing with customers.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
