Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, in Basking Ridge, NJ, seeks a data engineering expert to design and lead end-to-end data integration from diverse sources. You will optimize streaming pipelines with Kafka and manage scalable data platforms across processing, storage, and security layers.

You will contribute to requirements analysis, project estimation, system design, coding, and testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data products and analytics

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing data applications in production.
• 5+ years with streaming technologies, esp. Kafka.
• Knowledge of distributed data architecture, data security, governance, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end data integration from diverse sources.
• Perform performance tuning and resolve complex big data issues.
• Design scalable solutions across data processing, databases, web services, and security layers.
• Integrate testing and support QA on large-scale projects.
• Contribute to requirements analysis, project estimation, system design, coding, and testing.
• Evaluate and implement third-party libraries to enhance product capabilities; stay current with big data and AI/ML trends.
