Job summary

Erias Ventures in Maryland seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, real-time data processing, and business management information systems. You will work individually or with a team, follow documented requirements, review code, test results, and contribute to system design trade-offs.

The role may allow partial telework; a current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 14 years' SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• 4 additional SWE years may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Accumulo, Zookeeper.
• Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting experience required.
• Develop and run Ansible playbooks; Java as primary language.
• Experience writing Map/Reduce applications and Accumulo iterators.
• Familiar with Data Warehouse processing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics and real-time processing.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
• Resolve software problem reports and provide system design input on trade-offs.
• Work individually or as part of a team using documented requirements.
