Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems using Accumulo, Hadoop, Python, and AWS. You will work on processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and data repositories, with leadership responsibilities on projects as appropriate.

Candidate must have fourteen years of SWE experience and a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Fourteen years’ experience as a SWE in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Required skills: Hadoop, Accumulo, AWS, Terraform, Java, Python.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning.
