Job summary

L3Harris in Lynchburg, VA, seeks a Senior Associate in Program Finance (Bids & Proposals Financial Analyst) to support front-end financial analysis on bids and proposals. You will work with proposal teams to translate technical solutions into customer price pages and deliver cost, margin, and cash flow analyses.

Qualifications include a Finance-related degree and 2+ years of related experience; strong Excel skills; and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience (or 6 years with 2-year post-secondary/Associate degree).
• Graduate degree or equivalent with 0–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs for requirements (base/optional scope, terms and conditions, etc.).
• Incorporate Bills of Materials into financial templates; lead cost scrubs, gross margin analysis, cash flow modeling; prepare charts; perform what-if analyses.
• Educate Sales to present financial data for internal reviews and customer meetings.
• Provide financial support post-submittal: customer eval questions, oral interviews, scope changes, negotiations; manage revision control and final as-sold file.
• Take ownership of proposals and communicate status, financials, and approvals per Delegation of Authority; may require non-standard hours.
• Support metrics, audits, and process improvements.
