TEGNA, Inc. is seeking a Senior BI/Tableau Report Developer to lead advanced Tableau reporting for media metrics, audience analytics, and ad performance.

You will set visualization standards, optimize data sources, and mentor analysts across the analytics function. With 10+ years of BI experience and deep Tableau expertise, you will partner with Data Engineers, Scientists, and business teams to deliver scalable dashboards that drive content, distribution, and revenue decisions in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 10+ years in BI development.
• 5+ years Tableau in enterprise environments.
• Experience in Media/Entertainment/Ad-Tech.
• Advanced SQL for complex querying and ETL.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex Tableau dashboards for media metrics.
• Translate models into intuitive visualizations for executives and operators.
• Establish visualization standards aligned with Nielsen and privacy rules.
• Architect scalable Tableau data sources and optimize queries over large datasets.
• Collaborate with data engineers/scientists to refine data models (star schemas).
• Serve as SME for complex Tableau features and performance tuning.
• Partner with Sales/Marketing/Content/Finance to capture KPIs and requirements.
• Mentor junior developers in data storytelling and BI governance.
